Victor Janusz Band's "comeback" CD --its first since "Cosmo Street" (2005) due, in part, to a 2008 Recession...this is the third in a succession of 5 full-length Studio Recordings since 2002. The band's beefed up sound explores a more Blues/Rock bent with the title track, inspired by Janusz' own command-performance for President-Elect Barack Obama at Seattle's Westin Ballroom, --and the track itself dedicated to Janusz's childhood hero, Seattle icon Norman Durkee (Founder of Teatro Zinzanni, one-time music director for Bette Midler, and the legendary pianist for BTO's "Takin' Care of Business"). The core Band featuring Janusz on lead vocals & piano, includes Spencer Hoveskeland (Bass/Lead Guitar), Steven Banks (drums) Mark Taylor (sax) Billy Joe Huels (trumpet) Robertson Witmer (Clarinet, Accordion, Recorder, Tambourine) Steve White (Percussion, Congas), Dave Marriott (Trombone), also features guests: Bassist Dave Pascal, Bassist Tim Koss, Stratocaster fender guitarist Leif Totusek, Pete Remine on Steel Drums, Charles Leggett (harmonica) and two duets with Angie Louise (Lead singer of Seattle Band The Love Markets). Backing Vocals: Janusz & Kim Maguire. All musical arrangments by VJ.
